I am a generalist head of product design with 10+ years of helping companies solve their user’s problems in creative and scalable ways. I have experience with startups, incubators, consultancies, and corporates in legal tech,
e-commerce, fashion, media, transportation, cybersecurity, and medical technology.
Although my home base is Berlin, I've been working remotely for 6+ years and am passionate about building productive and collaborative virtual work environments.
Building a professional community is something I deeply value. Currently, I connect and volunteer with Futures Friends, a global network exploring futures how to shape them. In the past, I started Berlin Art Bites, an Instagram account showcasing contemporary art exhibitions in Berlin. I also organized MaxMSP meetups for digital and interactive artists and facilitated Node School coding workshops to support aspiring software engineers.
My Approach to Leadership
In my previous role at Orbit, I led two fintech products from concept to launch, balancing product strategy, stakeholder engagement, product management, and hands-on UI/UX while managing two cross-functional teams. I also oversaw the company’s branding, digital and print marketing, and art direction, including the production of photoshoots for our website.
I hold a Master’s in Digital Management from Hyper Island, where I deepened my expertise in digital leadership, team dynamics, and the future of work. I advocate for asynchronous-first collaboration (prioritizing clear written communication, thoughtful documentation, and fewer default meetings) to support autonomy and deep focus across remote, hybrid, or on-site environments.
My leadership style centers on alignment. I connect stakeholders, synthesize diverse perspectives, and make decisions transparent. I clearly communicate how design supports business strategy and ensure priorities reflect user needs, technical feasibility, and long-term impact. I promote human-centered practices as a shared cultural foundation across organizations.
I’ve helped teams grow by hiring employees, freelancers, and agencies. I place strong emphasis on onboarding, creating living guides that give new team members the clarity they need to ramp up quickly and confidently. I welcome feedback and encourage iteration, embedding a mindset of continuous improvement. I have also mentored designers at various stages in their careers.
